This is one of those songs that I can’t get out of my head. The story is that Heath Ledger was working with Modest Mouse prior to this unfortunate death. The obvious message of this video is that we need to be more humane to animals, I don’t necessarily disagree, but considering I just had BBQ for lunch, I don’t lose much sleep over this particular issue. I think that this goes to prove what I told my mother when I was in my teens is true:
“I don’t listen to the words, I just like the tempo and beats”.
